Job Opportunity Teaching & Learning Advisor - Whole School and College Approach (WCSA) for Mental Health Temporary funded until 31st August 2026.
Are you passionate about supporting schools and colleges to foster a positive mental health environment for all? Do you have the vision and skills to support schools and colleges to develop approaches that support students, staff, and the wider community? If this could be you, we are seeking a dynamic Whole School and College Approach lead for mental health, to join our dedicated team as part of a job share for 3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic support for the development, implementation and monitoring of the Green Paper’s Mental Health (MH) in Schools project plan and national key criteria in partnership with all stakeholders
- Working closely with the NHS and the Young Peoples Mental Health Support Team. The post holder will hold responsibility for the development, monitoring and implementation of the whole school and college approach (WSCA) in all schools and colleges across the borough, within Heywood, Middleton, and Rochdale.
- To work closely with the healthy schools teaching and learning advisor to further promote and develop the curriculum and strategies to improve Health Education, PHSE and Citizenship across the borough's schools
- To work closely with the healthy schools teaching and learning advisor to support schools in Rochdale in the development of policies and strategies to promote the WSCA, Healthy Schools, Citizenship, PHSE and Anti- Bullying
- To contribute to the Raising Rochdale ambition for all children and young people.
- To contribute to the development of partnerships with other relevant agencies
