We prioritise staff wellbeing, embrace and celebrate diversity, and foster a positive, inclusive culture where everyone is supported to thrive. With access to high-quality CPD, regular coaching, and clear opportunities for progression, you’ll grow professionally while making a real difference.
Responsibilities include:
• Support children with their learning across the curriculum
• Deliver small-group and one to one interventions, especially for those with SEND, EAL or behavioural needs
• Encourage independence and positive behaviour
• Prepare engaging learning materials and resources
• Track and record progress, supporting classroom planning
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families
• Be an advocate for every child’s success and well-being
What We’re Looking For:
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Experience working with young people, especially in an educational setting
• A positive, proactive, and patient attitude
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and a genuine passion for supporting children
• Additional training or experience in SEND, EAL, behaviour support, or first aid
• Familiarity with digital learning tools (e.g. Microsoft Teams)
• Confidence in supporting learning across a range of subjects
At Oasis, every individual is valued. We’re a vibrant, inclusive community built on compassion, respect, and a shared belief in every child’s potential. If you’re ready to inspire young minds, contribute your energy, creativity, and care, and thrive as part of a forward-thinking team, we’d love to hear from you.
