Manpower is currently seeking a Part-Time Team Assistant/Learning Coordinator to work with our global FMCG client, Unilever, renowned for brands such as Ben & Jerry's, Knorr, Walls & Marmite, and become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.
The position is based at our client's Research & Development facility, at Colworth Science Park, in Sharnbrook, Bedfordshire (MK44), accessible by car. It also houses our client's global centre of excellence in safety and sustainability sciences.
This is a Part-Time temporary role, for 6 months requiring 18.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday. (There will a need to be flexible on start time and finish time) Compensation for this role is competitive, paying £21.03 per hour, depending upon experience.
KEY ACCOUNTABLILTIES
- Act as the primary point of contact for allocated Director Group(s) at Colworth Science Park, support in day to day activities.
- Team Workshop Management: Arrange conferences, workshops, and special events for the team including venues, travel, entertainment etc.
- Support the team / Director in preparation and follow-up of their team meetings.
- Serve as the primary owner and subject matter expert for the Coupa procurement process.
- Raise and track purchase orders, liaise with suppliers and ensure timely approvals
- Provide guidance and troubleshooting support to the team members using Coupa.
- Work with the Head of Learning and Communication, supporting the coordination of learning activities aligned with RD&I strategy.
- Support logistics for events in Amsterdam

- Provide logistical and administrative support for internal events hosted at Colworth Science Park.
- Coordinate venue bookings, catering, materials and communications for events, and support on the day to ensure events run smoothly.
REQUIREMENTS & EXPEREINCE
- High degree of organisation and time management, balancing multiple priorities at once, working with different levels of stakeholder in and outside of the organization.
- Team player, willing to help other team members and be a proactive member of the wider RD&I community
- Excellent in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, in Coupa for budget management and ability to quickly acquire new IT skills to utilize key company software and systems.
- Proactive, detail-oriented and solution focused
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Occasional short business-trips within Europe may be required, but not essential.
