Job Title: Phlebotomist (Band 2/3)

Location: Wrexham Maelor Hospital, LL13 7TD

Band: Band 2/3

Contract Type: Locum

Salary: £12 - £14 per hour

About you:

Wrexham Maelor Hospital, are looking to employ a trainee Phlebotomist to train with existing teams.

The sucessful candidate will work as part of a team as well as alone to provide a blood sample collection service to the wards, outpatient departments and Community clinical settings. The post may also include occasionally providing support with duties including, but not limited to, stock management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Blood collection using venepuncture from patients both in Primary and Secondary care settings.

  • The post may also include occasionally providing support with duties including, but not limited to, stock management.

Essential Qualifications:

We are looking for a Phlebotomist with:

  • GCSE English or equivalent
  • Full UK right to work.
