We are looking for reliable Manufacturing Operatives to join our busy team here in Dumfries.
Job Opportunity: Manufacturing Operative
Location: Dumfries
Salary: £13 per hour
Job Type: Full-time
Working Pattern:
Week A: Monday - Thursday, 12-hour shifts
Week B: Monday - Wednesday, 12-hour shifts
(That's a 4-day weekend every other week!)
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow detailed production plans and quality control processes
- Assemble and inspect parts/products to meet high standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
- Log production data and report any faults or downtime
- Work towards daily output targets without compromising on quality or safety
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a fast paced manufacturing or production role is essential
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clear instructions
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical tasks
- Hands-on experience using power tools and taking accurate measurements
- A team player with a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn
