Job Title: Consultant Gastroenterologist / General Surgeon with an Interest in Endoscopy
Location: Essex
Salary: £105,504 - £139,882 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent. Visa sponsorship is available
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role
As a Consultant in Gastroenterology/Endoscopy, you'll play a key role in diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal conditions, working within multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care. Responsibilities may include:
- Performing endoscopic procedures (OGD, colonoscopy)
- Supporting junior doctors and MDTs
- Contributing to service development and audits

What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Candidates must be on the GMC Specialist Register or be due to obtain CCT within the next 6 months
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
- Relevant NHS experience at Consultant level, or references to support your transition up to Consultant level
- Strong communication and teamworking skills
