alternative provision in Sandwell is recruiting for both Teachers and Teaching Assistants to join their team from September 2025.
About the SettingThis specialist education centre supports pupils aged 11-16 who face challenges in mainstream education. Many of the learners have SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs), SEND, or behavioural difficulties.

Teaching Assistant RoleResponsibilities:
- Support pupils in lessons and through targeted interventions
- Build positive relationships and promote emotional wellbeing
- Assist with behaviour management and classroom routines
- Work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with young people, ideally in SEN or SEMH settings
- TA qualification or willingness to train
- Calm, empathetic, and adaptable
Teaching RoleResponsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
- Support academic progress and personal development
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
- Work closely with colleagues to meet holistic pupil needs
Ideal Candidate:
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience in alternative provision, SEN, or SEMH settings
- Passionate about inclusive education and pupil wellbeing
