Are you ready to lead the way in securing, designing, and delivering resilient infrastructure that powers SPPA’s digital transformation?
The Scottish Public Pension Agency (SPPA) is an Agency of the Scottish Government. Our principal role is to administer the pensions for employees in the National Health Service, Teachers,’ Police and Fire-fighters’ pension schemes in Scotland. The Agency administers these public service pension schemes on behalf of Scottish Ministers with an annual pension spend to over 200,000 pensioners of more than £2.5 billion.
As Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, delivery, and security of SPPA’s digital infrastructure - ensuring the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of systems that support our members. This includes managing cloud-based services (particularly MS Azure), implementing robust cyber controls, supporting disaster recovery, and driving digital transformation through modern tools and practices. Your work will directly enable the SPPA to deliver secure, efficient, and future-ready pension services on behalf of the Scottish Government.
