We are excited to offer an opening for a Business Support Assistant – This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a challenge working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. As a Business Support Assistant, you’ll provide administration support to the Team Leaders, Senior Social Workers, Social Workers and Social Work Assistants in the Children & Families Duty Team and work closely with partner agencies such as Education, Police and Health. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Telephone Answering
  • Letter typing and distribution
  • Minute taking and distribution
  • Use of SBC applications such as Mosaic, Business World, Intranet, One Drive and Microsoft packages
  • Processing Police Concern Forms & Inter-Agency Referral
  • Being first point of telephone/email contact to the public and Professionals
  • Monitoring of Team mailboxes
  • Completing Mosaic tasks
  • Processing of invoices
  • Working closely with the Social Work staff within the Children & Families Duty Team

Essential

Minimum of 3 Standard Grades at level 1, 2, 3 (or equivalent), including English
