We’re looking for a dynamic and driven Workplace Adjustments Lead Caseworker to join our forward-thinking team. This is your opportunity to lead meaningful change, influence policy, and directly improve the working lives of our people.

Why Join Us?

At the heart of our Workforce Equality and Inclusion Plan is a bold vision: to build a truly inclusive council that reflects the communities we serve. Our Workplace Adjustment Hub is central to this mission—providing expert advice, timely support, and practical solutions that enable our employees to thrive.

- Collaborate with the Hub Manager to design and improve services for employees with physical, mental health, and neurodivergent needs.
- Deliver expert advice, training, and guidance across the Council.
- Act as a thematic lead in key areas such as sensory, mental health, or neurodiversity.
- Conduct risk assessments and coordinate the procurement of adaptive equipment and specialist support.
- Work closely with stakeholders including ICT, Estates, and Health & Safety to ensure timely and effective implementation of adjustments.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in how we support our people.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is:

- Empathetic and solutions-focused, with a deep understanding of the barriers faced by disabled employees.
- Experienced in leading complex cases and delivering workplace adjustments that enable people to thrive.
- A confident communicator, able to influence and advise senior leaders and stakeholders.
- A strategic thinker, with the ability to balance individual needs with organisational goals.
- Committed to equity and inclusion, with a track record of driving positive change.

Applicants must have demonstrable experience in:
- Substantial experience supporting workplace adjustments for disabled employees or those with long-term health conditions.
- Confidence in conducting risk assessments and coordinating adaptive equipment or specialist support.
- Demonstrating strong stakeholder engagement skills, working collaboratively across departments.
- Being comfortable leading complex cases and influencing senior decision-makers.
- Bringing a balanced and inclusive approach to problem-solving and service delivery.

What You’ll Get
- A chance to make a real impact in a values-driven organisation.
- Access to the Local Government Pension Scheme.
- Flexible working arrangements and hybrid working options.
- Discounted travel schemes and generous leave entitlements.
