About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Chef Supervisor to lead our university kitchen team in delivering high-quality, innovative and nutritious meals to our diverse campus community. This role blends culinary expertise with modern food service concepts, emphasising sustainability, dietary inclusivity and student engagement. The ideal candidate will inspire creativity, ensure operational excellence, and maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality.
You will work closely with the Executive Chef to develop on-trend, cost-effective menus and promotions, liaise with suppliers, and ensure all retail lines and pricing are up to date. You'll handle day-to-day kitchen operations, maintain the highest food safety and quality standards, and support retail audits and visual merchandising.
The successful candidate will ideally be trained to Level 3 (Advanced) Food Safety, have experience in Health and Safety Supervision, Food Safety Management and experience in a similar environment.
37 hours per week (Monday to Friday with occasional weekends).
