Crynodeb
At Haverigg Nursery and the Clubbers we take pride in the high level of childcare we provide to the children enrolled in our care, in an inclusive and caring environment. We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual to join our team to cover the planned absence of our current Manager for the forthcoming school year. The right candidate for this post will have excellent communication skills, display a positive attitude and be able to deal with the daily challenges of a busy Nursery setting.
The role will include Managing the setting, staffing and childcare groups, understanding staffing ratio levels and how to develop staff within a working room.
This position requires working within all areas of the Nursery daily. This includes engaging with children in all areas of the setting including inside, outside and providing beach and forest school experiences. The right individual must be confident to engage with children from 3 months to 11 years and will be required to work on a lunchtime rota. During the summer months we spend a great deal of time outside, we love all things nature and have dedicated a messy garden to planting and creating within our setting. Our inside provision is wonderfully inviting and is frequently changed around to keep the children exploring and engaging in what we have to offer. We are looking for an individual who will slot right into our chaos and love it as much as the rest of the team.
The candidate should be Level 3 qualified. The successful candidate must be able to work between the hours of 6:45am and 6:15pm, Monday to Friday and must be flexible to different working times and days on a weekly basis if required. Good levels of Maths and English are required.
The successful candidate will be given full training to work within our setting. Hours and salary to be agreed with the successful candidate.
Full details can be found on the job description on our website. Applications are welcomed until 14th September 2025.
