The Construction Director has contacted me to bring a quality Assistant into their business, a company that doesn’t normally employ Assistants, for that reason it makes it a great opportunity for you get the chance to come in and really make the role your own.
He said he’ll be giving you several opportunities to make you a better manager that you wouldn’t normally get at the big housebuilders. That’ll be exposure on the front-end elements of the build, footings, drainage, slab, super-structure etc. – obviously this will increase your overall knowledge.
But you’ll also be working on 1st, 2nd and final handover on plots that are being built over 26 weeks on sites that are only taking off 20-25 a year – and this is because there are many excellent features on several of the units which regularly sell for half a million on complicated sites geographically.
And finally, although you'll primarily be on one site in the Barrow area, you'll have the opportunity to fill in on other sites therefore learning learning off different managers over 2-3 sites (all within reach of each other).
