Crynodeb
The Audit and Governance Committee provides an independent review of the Authority’s internal control frameworks, risk management and financial reporting processes. It also oversees arrangements for internal and external audit and meets four times a year.
The successful candidate will receive an allowance of £1673.00 per annum for performing this role, paid in equal monthly instalments.
Travel and Out of Pocket Expenses will also be reimbursed in accordance with the Authority’s Members Allowance Scheme.
Eligibility:
To be considered for this position you must not be a current employee of Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service and cannot have worked for the Service in the past five years. You must also be able to demonstrate probity, political independence and the highest level of integrity in your conduct. You should also have knowledge / experience in the areas set out within the attached Role Pack (including the person specification) and provide evidence / examples of how you meet the requisite skills and knowledge in your CV and / or accompanying letter.
