We’re on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands-on Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support.
As a support worker, you will be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a friendly, professional team supporting a fantastic group of people!
Our residential service in Nottingham, NG16 area is a welcoming and homely environment, and you can be sure that no two days will be the same!
One day you could be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going bowling.
Additional duties may include: -
• Assisting with feeding, dressing, bathing
• Personal Care
• Encouraging the individuals to access their local communities
• Socialising and doing lots of activities within the local community
• Helping with letters, and other day to day duties.
This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life helping them to grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going to the local shops.
To be able to apply for this job you must; have the following: -
• You must have proven experience within a similar care environment
• Have a checkable work history
• Have up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. If you do not have up to date certificates we can offer online training for you.
• Have an in date enhanced DBS check. Should your DBS have expired we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you.
We are unable to support VISA applications.
This is an ongoing role
Flexible work which suits you. Day shifts 07:00 to 14:00 or 14:00 to 22:00, Monday to Friday.
You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.55 with 28 days holiday accrued.
