We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker looking for nighttime work, who live in the Nottingham, NG16 area.
In this role, you will play a vital part in empowering individuals to achieve their personal goals while ensuring their safety and well-being in a supportive environment.
Our mission is to create a home-like environment that promotes independence, opportunities, and a high quality of life for every individual we support.
Additional duties may include the following: -
Assist individuals with their nighttime living activities, including meal preparation and personal care.
• Support clients in developing independent living skills through engaging activities.
• Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive outcomes.

• Maintain accurate records of client progress and any incidents that occur during shifts.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Personalised Care: Follow and support each resident’s personalized care plan, providing hands-on help and thoughtful attention to their individual needs.
Health and Wellbeing:
Keep a close eye on individuals health
, communicating any concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager,
Champion Dignity:
Uphold the dignity and respect of each resident, ensuring they feel valued, respected and cared for.
Social Support: Encourage social interactions among the individuals and with staff, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
Safety and Comfort: Work with the existing team to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces, . respond quickly to emergencies or call bells.
Nutritional Support: Assist residents who need extra help with eating and drinking, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.

To be considered for this rewarding role you must have the following: -

• You must have proven experience within a similar care environment
• Have a checkable work history
• Have up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training, with an added fee
• Have an in date enhanced DBS check, if your DBS have expired, we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you.

This is an ongoing opportunity

Your typical hours will start at 22.00 and finish at 07.00 Monday to Friday

You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.75 per hour, with added 28 days accrued holiday pay.
