We are seeking to appoint a well-organised, efficient, and positive individual to join our dedicated team at St Joseph’s RC Primary School.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic person who is passionate about providing high-quality support to our children, staff, and visitors.

The successful candidate will provide general clerical, administrative, financial, and whole-school organisational support, contributing to the smooth running of the school and the wellbeing of all pupils.

Key Rsponsibilities:

  • Provide efficient clerical and administrative support to staff, pupils, and parents
  • Handle financial procedures under the guidance of senior staff
  • Offer excellent front-of-house service to all visitors
  • Contribute to whole school organisation and smooth day-to-day operations

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience in general clerical and administrative work
  • Holds a minimum Grade C (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Is confident in using IT systems and office equipment (e.g. photocopiers)
  • Has good keyboard and computer skills, and is willing to learn school-specific systems such as Bromcom (training will be provided)
  • Is open to undertaking first aid training
  • Is committed to professional development and ongoing training
  • Is organised, proactive, and enjoys working as part of a team
