Summary
Building Control Inspector
We're looking for a Building Control Inspector to join our growing team and help deliver safe, compliant, and sustainable construction projects across the North of England including: Yorkshire, the North West, and the East and West Midlands. Occasional travel towards London and surrounding.
Location: Nationwide (with regional travel)
Salary: £50,000+ (with increases based on UK Register rank)
Benefits: 10% car allowance
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Standard working hours of 9am - 5:30pm
*Working for a well known name in the industry
What You'll Do- Carry out building control functions: plan checks, site inspections, statutory consultations
- Support external contracts and growth projects
- Make decisions under Building Regulations and the new Building Safety Regime
- Liaise with partner agencies and promote our services
- UK Register of Building Inspectors rank of 2A or higher
- Experience in building control, surveying, or project management
- Strong knowledge of building legislation and IT systems
- Continuous learning and development, including support to up-skill and progress your UK Register rank
- Chartered membership support (CABE, RICS, CIOB)
