Are you looking for a hands-on role where quality matters? Are you newly qualified in Mechanical Engineering and looking to kick-start your career or are you an experienced mechanical assembler, if so we would like to hear from you.

We are looking for Mechanical Assemblers to join a well-established engineering company with over 20 year's experience producing premium, durable products that help customers work smarter, safer, and more efficiently.

The Role

  • To carry out heavy assembly work - sometimes in confined spaces
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools to meet production deadlines
  • Check quality at every stage, raising any issues before products move forward
  • Complete all relevant paperwork & inspection records
  • Keep your work area safe, tidy, and compliant with Health & Safety standards

Experience and Skills

  • Be newly qualified or qualified in mechanical engineering
  • Able to work independently but also a great team player
  • Be able to read from diagrams and drawings.
  • Positive, proactive, and comfortable working to schedules
  • Passionate about producing top-quality work
  • Reliable, flexible, and keen to learn new skills
  • Experience with hand & power tools is essential
