Are you passionate about supporting children and families? Do you have the skills to build trusted relationships and deliver meaningful change? Join our dedicated team in North Yorkshire as a Trusted Relationships Worker and help protect and empower some of the most vulnerable young people in our communities.
About the Role
This is a key role within the North Yorkshire Trusted Relationships Project, a multi-agency initiative supporting children at risk of or subject to:
• Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE)
• County Lines
• Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE)
• Modern Slavery

What You’ll Do
• Provide emotional and practical support to children and families.
• Deliver structured, evidence-based interventions.
• Contribute to assessments, plans, and reviews.
• Work collaboratively with social workers, schools, and partner agencies.
• Promote safeguarding and ensure the safety and wellbeing of children.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to service development.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
• In-depth knowledge of child exploitation issues (CCE, CSE, County Lines, Modern Slavery).
• Experience working with vulnerable or hard-to-engage children and families.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child development.
• Excellent communication, engagement, and relationship-building skills.
What we can offer
• Generous Annual Leave:
28 days of holiday (pro-rata), increasing to 34 days after 5 years’ service – plus public holidays.
• Pension Scheme:
Save for your future with our generous Local Government Pension Scheme.
• Fitness Discounts:
Discounted Gym memberships at various gyms across the county.
• Lifestyle Savings:
Enjoy a wide range of discounts at hundreds of popular high-street and online retailers.
• And more:
Additional wellbeing support, employee assistance, and development opportunities.
