The Power Platform Governance Manager will be responsible for managing the governance for DVSA’s Power Platform (PP) environment, including Apps, Flows, Pages, and Dataverse storage. This role is crucial in ensuring the platform's compliance and performance.
The role holder will assist the Product Manager for Dynamics and Power Platform in coordinating the activities of specialist groups within the Power Platform space. They will foster collaboration among these groups to support the Dynamics and Power Platform Centre of Excellence and ensure key stakeholders have visibility into these efforts.

This role will form a part of the wider Centre of Excellence team. The role holder will leverage the Centre of Excellence toolkit to ensure that users within the Power Platform space follow the appropriate governance routes and that all Apps are developed in accordance with the correct processes.
They will support the Product Manager for Dynamics and Power Platform to ensure understanding of the correct governance pathways within the Power Platform, ensuring that both internal and external digital delivery teams adhere to best practices.
They will provide guidance and support on correct governance routes to take when using the Power platform to Service Owners and Citizen Developers. This will support the service owner or Citizen Developer to navigate the product vision and goals.
Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:
- Use the Centre of Excellence toolkit to Conduct regular audits and compliance checks on Apps and flows within the Power Platform to ensure adherence to governance policies, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
- Liaise with relevant internal and external departments such as Infrastructure team, Dynamics developers, Citizen Developers and external suppliers, to ensure that customer needs are met and that these requirements are fully communicated throughout the business.
- Provide support to the Product Manager, ensuring that governance policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Demonstrate leadership by providing guidance to staff to support the delivery of objectives. Manage and engage with honesty and integrity, and upholding the reputation of the Agency, Department and Civil Service.
- Work in collaboration with other managers across all functions for the good of DVSA and to create a high performing and well-respected Agency.
