The University of Liverpool is seeking a pro-active and organised Library Support Coordinator to join our vibrant Libraries, Museums & Galleries team.
You will:
• Provide frontline customer care and library support across all library spaces (physical and digital)
• Work with colleagues to create and manage online content
• Actively engage and interact with library users and colleagues
• Focus on one of the following areas and provide expertise to support library services: Operations and Service Continuity, Library Circulation and Membership, Support for Teaching, Learning and Outreach, Accessibility
We're looking for someone who:
• Has experience of dealing with the public in a busy service environment.
• Thrives by working collaboratively.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong enquiry management abilities.
• Enjoys building relationships and leading a team
This is a fantastic opportunity to:
• Be part of a dynamic team within a prestigious university
• Work in a beautiful, historic library setting
• Contribute to our front-facing services and make a real difference to the student experience
Working hours: Part time, 21 hours per week, 8am-4pm Sunday-Tuesday
You should have a minimum of three GCSE or equivalent qualification, at grade C or above, including English and Maths.
