Our client, a highly regarded school in King's Lynn, Norfolk, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-time Additional Needs Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with additional needs.

As an Additional Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the teaching staff to provide personalised support to students with various learning difficulties and disabilities. Your primary focus will be to ensure that each child receives the necessary guidance and assistance to thrive in their educational journey. You will play a crucial role in creating an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes learning, growth, and social development.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, patience, and a genuine desire to work with children who require extra support. You should have experience working with students with additional needs, and a good understanding of various learning strategies and interventions. Familiarity with current educational practices and a willingness to adapt to individual student needs are essential for success in this role.

In return for your dedication and hard work, our client offers a competitive salary ranging from £13.80 to £15 per hour, depending on your experience and qualifications. Key responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with additional needs
- Assist in the development and implementation of Individualised Education Plans (IEPs)
- Work collaboratively with teachers to adapt lesson plans and materials to meet the needs of each student
- Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement
- Attend and contribute to team meetings and professional development sessions

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with additional needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse needs
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a dynamic educational environment
- Relevant qualifications in education, special needs, or a related field (desirable)
