ERP Procurement Lead needed in Stoke Paying £350 per day ref 5273998
Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Duties
- Oversee procurement workflows within the ERP system, ensuring smooth and effective purchasing processes.
- Partner with internal teams to assess procurement requirements and offer expert advice on best practice approaches.
- Maintain and manage contract registers, ensuring full compliance with government procurement legislation.
- Leverage SAP Ariba and S4Hana to optimise procurement functions and improve data integrity.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with the Procurement Act 2023 and other applicable regulations.
- Design and execute procurement strategies that support financial goals and operational priorities.
- Produce and deliver analytical reports to stakeholders, offering actionable insights and recommendations.
- Strong analytical capabilities with a proven ability to interpret and reconcile complex datasets.
- Experience thriving in fast-paced environments and adapting to evolving business demands.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate across all levels.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other data analysis tools.
- Deep understanding of public sector procurement practices and systems.
- Familiarity with managing contract registers in regulated settings.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba and S4Hana is highly advantageous
