An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Post on the Acute Floor at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary.
Are you a Band 5 nurse looking for a chance to develop into a more senior role?
Are you a Band 6 nurse, wanting a new challenge and to gain experience in Acute Medicine?
If you enjoy a challenge and want to develop your skills further then this is the ideal opportunity for you.
You will be able to develop skills and knowledge in Acute Medicine, leadership, assessment, caring for the acutely ill patient, and coordinating the patient journey through the unit. You will be able to acquire skills in staff management; inclusive of probationary management, incident investigations, roster management, assessing students and supporting new starters, appraisals, audits, service improvements and initiatives.
We are a dynamic and supportive team. We have 46 Acute Medical Beds. The unit is ever changing, fast paced and forward thinking. Promoting quality and safety and helping to improve the patient experience.
