Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and driving the growth of our services. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of excel, word and CRM software applications, this is a field based sales role with frequent visits to our Head Office in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.
Responsibilities
• To sell a comprehensive range of waste disposal solutions to commercial clients, identifying their needs and proposing suitable contracts.
• Engage in cold calling to generate new business leads and build a robust pipeline within your allocated regional area, leveraging local knowledge for strategic outreach.
• Develop and demonstrate a good understanding of industry trends and competitor offerings in your area.
• Effectively manage your workload to achieve and exceed targeted sales goals, maintaining a high level of productivity and organisation.
• Provide outstanding customer service, fostering strong relationships with clients and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
• Attend commercial exhibitions, business expos, and networking events to promote the company’s offerings, expanding brand visibility and forging new connections.
• Exhibit strong motivation and resilience in selling to new clients, adeptly handling objections while maintaining a positive attitude and focus on customer needs.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in a Field Sales role.
• Strong understanding of software solutions; experience with excel, powerpoint and CRM systems essential.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a passion for achieving results.

• Field Sales B2B: 3 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
• Full UK Driving Licence (required)
Work Location: Must live within 15 miles of Rotherham S61 4QH
