The Opportunity
We are seeking a Construction Assurance Manager to ensure compliance with construction regulations and to oversee the health, safety, and environmental imopacts of large-scale civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of NEC3 contracts, construction regulations, and site-based processes.
Your duties and responsibilities will be:
- Oversee and ensure compliance with NEC3 contracts and construction regulations.
- Manage and monitor health, safety, and environmental procedures on construction sites.
- Identify and manage risks associated with construction projects.
- Monitor and track project progress against the established programme.
- Provide general management oversight within a matrix organizational structure.
- Collaborating with project teams to ensure construction activities align with regulatory requirements.
- Conducting regular site visits to monitor health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Managing project timelines and progress against the programme.
- Communicating with stakeholders to provide updates on construction assurance activities.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
- Collaborating with project teams to ensure construction activities align with regulatory requirements.
- Conducting regular site visits to monitor health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Managing project timelines and progress against the programme.
- Communicating with stakeholders to provide updates on construction assurance activities.
It’s great if you also have the following
- Previous experience with HS2 or Network Rail projects
- Chartered status
