We are keen to seek an applicant with a passion for leadership and a vision for delivering the highest quality education and childcare.
Would you like to work in a beautiful rural location with extensive outdoor facilities?
We believe that our staff should feel valued and be part of a supportive team of childcare professionals.
Roles and responsibilities
As a Deputy Team Leader (job share) you will be involved in:
Working in collaboration with the job share to ensure excellent communication and consistency.
Delivering and maintaining a professional standard of care and education with high expectations of all children and colleagues.
Inspire, motivate, and give direction to the team in order to provide the best possible care and education for the children in an environment which is inviting and challenging.
Sharing and role modelling professional knowledge and experience in line with current thinking around child development.
Supporting reflective practice, observations and planning in order to meet the individual needs of all children.
Meeting statutory requirements such as safeguarding, welfare, learning & development, SEND support and record keeping and supporting the team to maintain the same high standards.
This is a temporary position which will end on 12th April 2026, however for the right person we would consider a permanent contract once this has ended.
