Do you have previous experience working in care, leading a team and want to further your development within a Team Leader role?

The Role

The Team Leader will provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower their team in supporting the people they support to achieve their goals and aspirations.
You will be proactive and support the development and skills of Support Workers. This will include recruitment, induction, supervisions, annual appraisals, training, coaching, rota management, sickness and absence management.
Take the lead to help Support Workers understand their responsibilities and by doing so ensure that safe, effective, caring, responsive and well lead support and care is delivered at all times. You will complete evidence based supervisions and observation supervisions as well as supporting your team of support workers to complete competency based appraisals.
Support the Service Manager/Deputy Manager in managing transitions into and away from the service. You will be able to liaise professionally with all outside professional agencies, and ensure that all information is shared appropriately. Ensure that all the people we support have person centred support/care plans. You will be able to create and update these plans as per any changes that are required.
To oversee and support the development of excellent quality within the service. You will design, develop and maintain excellent service user records. Working in a supportive manner that empowers the service user to live their life in their chosen manner.
