About the Role:
As an English Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers and students to:
• Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions, focusing on reading comprehension, creative writing, and exam preparation
• Support students in KS3 and KS4 English Literature and Language lessons
• Assist with classroom activities, learning materials, and literary discussions
• Help prepare students for GCSE English assessments and coursework
• Encourage reluctant readers and develop a reading culture throughout the school
• Contribute to extra-curricular activities such as debate club, reading circles, and writing competitions

Who We're Looking For:
• A recent English graduate (2:1 or above preferred) with strong academic credentials
• A clear ambition to become a qualified English teacher
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Some experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring) is highly desirable
What’s On Offer:
• £25,000 – £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
• Full-time, Monday–Friday, term-time only
• Fixed-term contract for the 2025–26 academic year via KPI Education
• Weekly pay, dedicated support from your KPI consultant, and guidance on teacher training routes
