We are seeking a skilled and experienced Damp and Mould Surveyor to join our growing property services team in Barnet. In this crucial role, you will carry out detailed inspections of residential properties to assess issues related to damp, mould, and condensation. Your recommendations will help ensure homes are safe, habitable, and compliant with housing standards.
Key Responsibilities:-
Conduct in-depth property surveys to identify causes of damp, mould, and condensation

Prepare detailed reports, including diagnosis and recommendations for remedial works

Liaise with tenants, landlords, contractors, and internal teams to coordinate inspections and repairs

Monitor progress of remedial works, ensuring quality and compliance

Provide expert technical advice to support housing disrepair claims or legal proceedings if required

Ensure all work is conducted in line with current housing legislation and health & safety standards

Proven experience in surveying damp and mould in residential properties
- Experience working with local authorities or housing associations

Knowledge of relevant housing legislation, building pathology, and environmental health standards

Strong diagnostic and reporting skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
