Your new role
- Choose the working pattern that suits you-whether you're looking for part-time flexibility or full-time consistency
- Deliver engaging lessons using materials provided by the school
- Complete marking in line with school policies and expectations
- Provide a concise summary of the day's progress for the class teacher
- Demonstrate a strong grasp of the Year 4 curriculum, including core subjects like English and maths
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages pupil development and enthusiasm
What you'll need to succeed
- Ability to work on a flexible or regular basis
- Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2, with a focus on Year 4
- Confident classroom presence and clear communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teaching assistants and school staff
- A caring and inclusive teaching approach that supports varied learning abilities
- Professionalism and warmth when interacting with pupils, parents, and school teams
