What You’ll Need

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent)
  • Experience in a nursery, preschool, or early years setting
  • Sound understanding of the EYFS and child development
  • A kind, proactive, and collaborative approach
  • Awareness of safeguarding policies and inclusive practices
  • Strong communication and teamworking skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS
  • Provide high standards of care, safety, and emotional support
  • Monitor and document children’s progress and development
  • Promote inclusive practice and meet the needs of all children
  • Foster strong relationships with families and team members
  • Ensure the nursery environment is clean, safe, and stimulating
  • Contribute to planning, team reflections, and a positive learning culture
