Bushell House Residential Care Home have a vacancy for a part-time activities
co-ordinator.
24 Hours per week £12.50 per hour
Duties include:
Organise and prepare for regular activities
Create new activities taking into account individual skills, hobbies and interests of the residents
Organise fundraising events and interact with the local community
Arrange trips out for the residents
Essential:
A compassionate and caring nature
Excellent communication skills and the ability to use IT systems
Strong organisation and planning skills
Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
A flexible approach to working hours
Knowledge of organising events and activities
You will be supported by continuous training and development, a free DBS check and a home cooked meal during working hours.
