Summary
The primary task of the NCF STRAP Visits Officer is co-ordination and facilitation of visits, maintaining the security and integrity of STRAP material and provide assurance to Head of Security, Head of Establishment, and MOD & UK Intelligence Community accreditors that robust security measures are effective at protecting such material in support of visits.
Maintaining currency in reviewing relevant policy and ensuring its implementation within Head Office including relevant Defence Security, Cabinet Office policy and associated leaflets.
Provide updates, management information and recommendations to the STRAPSO, including priorities, challenges, opportunities, risks and scheduled activity.
Management and assurance of the delivery of STRAP information, systems and documentation for personnel based at NCF Samlesbury in accordance with national regulations.
Management and assurance of the delivery of STRAP information, systems and documentation for visitors to NCF Samlesbury in accordance with national regulations.
Lead the investigation of security incidents concerning STRAP material within NCF Samlesbury in accordance with the relevant policy requirements and timelines.
Liaison with NCF Samlesbury security team, Partner Agencies and STRAP authorities as appropriate.
Coordination and facilitation of visits that are STRAP compliant.
Undertake self and teams personal development, with learning and upskilling as required.
