Summary
The primary task of the National Cyber Force (NCF) STRAP Security Vetting Officer is to maintain the security and integrity of STRAP material and provide assurance to Head of Security, Head of Establishment, and MOD & UK Intelligence Community accreditors that robust security measures are effective at protecting such material.
Maintaining currency in reviewing relevant policy and supporting its implementation within Head Office including relevant Defence Security, Cabinet Office policy and associated leaflets.
Support the provision of updates and management information to the STRAPSO, including priorities, challenges, opportunities, risks and scheduled activity.
Management and assurance of the delivery of STRAP information, systems and documentation for personnel based at NCF Samlesbury in accordance with national regulations.
Supporting the delivery of STRAP information, systems and documentation for visitors to NCF Samlesbury in accordance with national regulations.
Support the investigation of security incidents concerning STRAP material within NCF Samlesbury in accordance with the relevant policy requirements and timelines.
Support the NCF Samlesbury security team, Partner Agencies and STRAP authorities as appropriate.
Retain and update training logs capturing any relevant STRAP training for the workforce.
Undertake personal development, learning and development and upskilling as required.
