James Ray Recruitment are looking to appoint Teaching Assistants with experience of working with students with behavioural difficulties. You would work on a adhoc or long term basis in local alternative provisions.
As a Teaching assistant, you will support vulnerable students in their learning by either working with individuals or groups of students with additional needs. You will also contribute to the assessment, planning, recording, monitoring, and reporting of students’ progress. This would suit candidates who are motivated, patient with a calm nature, having great verbal communication skills and a passion for making a difference. This role can suit candidates from a caring or public service background.
Key Duties:
The Ideal Candidate:
Be dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated
Be able to develop positive relationships with young children
Be able to stay calm and objective when presented with unusual or challenging behaviour
Be enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team
Be a confident and clear communicator with parents
NQTS/ECTS or QTS can also apply
Enhanced DBS Disclosure (or be happy to apply for one)
Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Legal right to work in the UK
