We are looking for a Business Support Assistant to provide administrative support to our busy children’s social care teams, who support children, young people and their families. The main duties include inputting and retrieving information into the Liquid Logic database, organising meetings, notetaking/minute taking, preparing, and sending letters and other office tasks to support our social work professionals. These are busy teams so the ability to be flexible, manage and prioritise workloads is essential to the service.
We are looking for a candidate who:
has excellent communication and strong IT/keyboard skills
the ability to use these skills confidently in a conference/meeting situation
has a clear understanding of the need for confidentiality.
has experience of working in an office
is customer focused and have a high level of commitment to work in partnership with service users.
We have many benefits on offer to our employees. Please see our Employee Financial Wellbeing & Support Guide contained in the supporting documents on North East Jobs.
Visa sponsorship: We welcome applications from all nationalities; however, successful candidates must, by the commencement of employment, have the right to work in the UK.
