Summary
Job description AK Teaching are working with two large SEND schools in the Washington area who are seeking Autism Support Workers to support children in the classroom. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting individuals with Autism by implementing tailored care plans and facilitating their development in a nurturing environment. Summary As an Autism Support Worker, you will provide essential support to children with autism, implementing individualised care plans to foster their development and well-being. There may be an element of personal care involved so you must be comfortable with this. Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm, no weekends or school holidays. If you don't currently hold a fully enhanced DBS on the update service, you will need to apply for a fully enhanced DBS.
