Hull City Council’s Waste Management team is seeking an Compliance & Enforcement Support Officer on a full-time permanent basis.
This position will help drive a reduction in environmental crime through the operation of CCTV and evidence gathering. The position will also provide support to the waste contracts team to ensure accuracy of data, and the terms of the contracts are being met.
Key Responsibilities:
Provision of administrative tasks for a small team of Environmental Crime Officers and the Waste Contracts Officer.
Act as the first point of contact for all internal and external environmental and waste management service issues, ensuring early problem resolution.
Monitor and review CCTV, identify and process evidence and support enforcement investigations linked to environmental crime.
Provide advice on compliance with environmental legislation to members of the public and local businesses.
