We are working with an award winning main contractor, who are proud to deliver energy efficiency upgrades to Social Housing and Private properties across the UK. The company are part of a large organisation who work multi-nationally., working across General Construction projects, Social Housing projects, large commercial energy efficiency projects and more.

They are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to work in their Social Housing refurbishment division. This is to be based in Oldham and covers planned, reactive and Voids on a long term framework with one of their key clients.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, your duties will include:

  • Prepare and monitor cash flow forecast for designated projects
  • Prepare and submit monthly applications for payment to the Client/Client's representative
  • Prepare monthly valuation reports for the Management team
  • Submit invoices for certified value and ensure payments are received on time
  • Value and authorise payments to subcontractors
  • Liaise with Contract Managers to establish the project specification and requirements
  • Liaise with Contractors, Suppliers and the Client to establish project specification and requirements
  • Attend and contribute to meetings with work colleagues and or Clients/Customers when necessary
  • Monitor the contract progress, assess and report any changes that may affect project costs and or time scale
  • Assist in the control of individual contract budgets
  • Ensure all necessary contract documentation / reports are accurate and produced on time.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a stable and progressive career history as a Quantity Surveyor within the Social Housing sector.

The salary is negotiable, depending on your experience + car allowance and package (healthcare cash plan, enhanced pension, bonus and more).
