After School Playworker Post
Fixed Term contract for one year
St Mary’s is a popular two form entry Catholic primary school in the centre of Wimbledon. This outstanding school has a popular and vibrant after school club (THE SMARTY Club) and we are looking for a playworker to join our dedicated and successful team from September 2025Status: Playworker in After School Club (THE SMARTY Club)
Responsibility: Facilitating play provision for children in the club, leading activities, supervising and assisting at meal times.
Pay Scale Point: ME4 Point 4 (LBMerton)
Work Hours: After school, POSSIBLE flexible hours between 2:45-6:00pm daily, term time only.Maximum hours will be 16 per week. (Hours are POSSIBLY negotiable) Please contact to discuss any interested hours Annual Salary: Starting at £28,125 (24/25) PRO-RATA – Pending confirmed 25/26 salary increase. Actual salary for 16 hours £10,894The successful candidate would ideally have relevant qualifications and/or experience of working in a school or play setting. Knowledge of first aid and food hygiene would also be beneficial, but training will be provided. We offer: • Children who are eager to learn and exceptionally well behaved
