Summary
This lovely family based in Streatham, London, is seeking an After-school Nanny to care for their baby, with the main focus on their school-aged child. The role includes all general nanny duties, such as preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children. A valid paediatric first aid qualification is essential for this position.
Working hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, 4:00 to 7:00 pm, Tuesday 3:00 to 6:00 pm ( school term hours ) (potentially more hours during school holidays, 20 hours per week| Occasionally babysitting required
Duties include:
Picking the children up from school and accompanying them to after-school activities, playdates, or appointments
Bathing the children and ensuring proper hygiene routines are followed
Ensuring the children’s safety, well-being, and overall development
Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
Supporting a calm and structured evening routine, including putting the children to bed
Encouraging early literacy by reading books with the children
Assisting with homework and supporting their educational progress
Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to promote structure and emotional security
Keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks appropriate to the children’s needs
