This is a temporary role
The reference number is: RQ1576891
The successful candidate will provide essential cover during a period of transition, following the insourcing of statutory education services. This short-term role is critical to ensuring continuity of service and compliance with statutory duties across key education functions, including educational visits, SACRE, school governance, and Ofsted support.
This temporary appointment will support the handover of statutory responsibilities and maintain service delivery while a permanent post holder is on boarded. Without this cover, there is risks of non-compliance with legal obligations in several key areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and support on statutory education functions
- Lead on school governance, curriculum development, SACRE, and educational visits
- Develop and disseminate policy updates and best practice guidance
- Engage with schools, governors, and stakeholders to ensure high standards and compliance
