Primary School Teacher: Wigan & Surrounding Areas - September 2025

Randstad Education is actively recruiting for passionate and adaptable Primary School Teachers to join our network of schools in Wigan and the surrounding areas. We have a variety of exciting opportunities available for the new academic year, starting in September 2025. We are seeking dedicated professionals to support a diverse range of primary schools, with roles available across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality and engaging lessons that adhere to the National Curriculum.

  • Manage a positive and supportive classroom environment, promoting excellent behaviour and a love for learning.

  • Accurately assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to aid development.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the holistic growth of every child.

  • Participate in wider school life, including staff meetings and professional development.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent UK teaching qualification.

  • Experience teaching within a primary school setting, with a strong understanding of either the Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 curriculum.

  • Exceptional classroom management and communication skills.

  • A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to different school environments.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and a genuine passion for making a difference in children's education.
