Salary: MPS
Contract Type: Full time (27.5 hours per week, term time only) Permanent
Start Date: 5th January 2026
The Governors, staff and children of St Mary’s CE Primary School are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and committed Class Teacher. This will initially be in one of our Year 5 classes.
Our pupils are welcoming, diverse and eager to learn. They require a teacher who will nurture their potential, champion high standards and bring out the best in every child.
The candidate needs to:
- aspire to be an outstanding teacher.
- have experience of working within key stage two.
- have high expectations of learning and behaviour for all children.
- have excellent subject knowledge.
- be committed to delivering a creative and enriched curriculum
- be accurate, pay attention to detail and manage their time in order to meet deadlines.
- work effectively as part of a team.
- be self-reflective and be able to respond to feedback.
- be prepared to contribute to all aspects of school life.
- be professional, enthusiastic and friendly
