Pre-Packing Senior Pharmacy Technician: Band 5

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the team as aSenior Pharmacy Technicianat the Pre-Packing Unit (PSU) located withinWhipps Cross Hospital, part of thePharmacy Technical Services (PTS).

PTS is a licensed manufacturing unit with three sites:Royal London Hospitalin Whitechapel,St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, andWhipps Cross Hospital.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all operational activities within the Pre-Packing area at Whipps Cross Hospital. This includes assisting with scheduling and planning of materials management, GMP inspection and labelling, assembly, repacking, and overall materials management. The post holder will also be tasked with ensuring that all work is scheduled, and documentation is kept current and updated in a timely manner, in compliance with MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) audits and internal reviews.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

· Hold aBTEC Level 3 Diploma in Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Techniciansor an equivalent qualification.

· Be registered with theGeneral Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)as a Pharmacy Technician.

Applicants must hold a BTEC level 3 Diploma in Principles and practice for pharmacy technicians or equivalent and must have Registration with General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacy Technician
