Crynodeb
Act as a generalist People Advisor, providing support across the full employee lifecycle. Provide first-line advice to employees and managers on a range of HR topics including but not limited to absence, conduct, performance, capability, flexible working, and policy queries. Support the delivery and coordination of core People processes, including monitoring probation reviews, appraisals, welfare check-ins, and exit interviews, ensuring these are completed in a timely and consistent manner. Coordinate and support the HR Administrator in end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring accurate record keeping and compliance with safer recruitment practices. Draft offer letters, contracts, and other HR documentation; ensure that appropriate second-check processes are in place. Organise new starter inductions, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience and timely completion of employment checks and documentation. Manage probation monitoring, contract changes, and leaver processes, maintaining accurate record in Cezanne HR. With the support of the HR Administrator, ensure the HR inbox is monitored and routine queries are responded to promptly and professionally. Escalate complex matters to the Senior HR Advisor where appropriate. Support the review, development, and implementation of HR policies and procedures in line with legislative updates and best practice. Liaise with our retainer solicitors to seek legal opinions on employee relations matters, ensuring decisions are legally sound and appropriately documented. Identify and suggest opportunities to improve people systems, processes, service delivery and engagement across the organisation. Contribute to HR initiatives and continuous improvement of the People function.
