We are recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Third in Charge at Little Bear’s Nursery!
Salary: £30,000-£35,000
We are looking for individuals who:
-Have a NNEB, BTEC, NVQIII in childcare or any other relevant qualification
-Assist with the effective daily supervision of the room in accordance with the requirements of Company Policy, the Children Act 1989 and other relevant legislation, and all local authority and OFSTED requirements.
-In the absence of the Nursery Manager / Deputy Nursery Manager, assist with the overall management of the nursery.
-Ensure all agreed Company Policies and Procedures are always adhered to in the nursery.
-To be responsible for a set of keys for the nursery, in addition to opening and closing duties of the premises. To take responsibility for the security of the nursery.
-Take responsibility for the safety, security, and well-being of all children within the room.
-Develop excellent written and verbal communications with parents.
-Observe each child’s progress and report on their achievements.
-Be a keyworker for a specified number of children.
-Plan a range of interesting and exciting activities to promote children’s development.
-Be responsible for creating a stimulating and attractive environment.
-Ensure that all required standards and ratios are maintained at all times within the room.
-Assist the nursery with the organisation of and attend parent’s meetings as required.
-Assist the preparation of the nursery for Ofsted inspections and action any recommendations made by the Inspector, in consultation with the Nursery Manager.
