Your Key Responsibilities

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs (e.g. autism, ADHD, speech and language challenges)

  
  

• Work closely with class teachers to adapt lessons and materials for diverse learning needs

  
  

• Foster essential skills like communication, independence, and confidence in pupils

  
  

• Support the school’s behaviour and inclusion strategies to ensure a calm, positive classroom environment

  
  

• Monitor and report progress to the SENCo and wider teaching team

  
  Who We’re Looking For

  • Achieving a 2:1 or higher (Psychology, Education, or related subjects preferred)

    
    

  • Experienced in supporting children or young people with SEN—whether through schools, care work, or voluntary roles
